City’s Facilities Set To Re-Open Following Five-Day Lockdown
The City of Kalamunda’s facilities, including libraries, halls and recreation centres, will re-open from Saturday, 6 February 2021, with interim restrictions in place to protect community and staff.

A ribbon cutting moment!
The Kalamunda Railway Heritage Trail – Perth Hills Trail Loop Stage 1 was officially opened today, 15 December 2020. Thank you to everyone who joined us on this momentous ride and to our awesome Western Trails Alliance Ltd (WTA) volunteers who spent over 1000 hours creating a safe recreational space for our community to enjoy. The Kalamunda to Pickering Brook Trail took a substantial amount of hard work by so many people, thank you!

Local Businesses get ready to accept ‘Kala Cash’
More than 60 local businesses have registered to accept ‘Kala Cash’ gift cards, an EFTPOS based gift card program, launched this week in the City of Kalamunda. Businesses throughout the City have jumped on board this buy local initiative funded and established through a partnership developed between Community Bank Forrestfield and High Wycombe Bendigo Bank and the City of Kalamunda, in response to effects of COVID 19 on local business.
